Research Interests:

I am a graduate of both the Faculty of Chemistry (Biotechnology) and the Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering (Chemical Engineering) at Warsaw University of Technology. In my research, I bridge the gap between bioprocess engineering and advanced biotechnology, focusing on the development of modern cultivation systems and the efficient recovery of high-value bioproducts.

Currently, my primary research activities center on the application of single-use bioreactors for the in vitro cultivation of plant and animal cells and tissues. I investigate the optimization of process conditions to enhance biomass growth and intensify the extraction of biologically active compounds from plant material. My work aims to scale up biotechnological processes while maintaining precise control over the cellular environment.

My professional experience includes a research fellowship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the USA, and the implementation of numerous research projects. Serving as a Principal Investigator and researcher in grants funded by the National Science Centre (NCN), the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBiR), and the "Excellence Initiative – Research University" program.
