Prevention of SARS-CoV-2 infection

Rules in effect at the Department of Chemical and Process Engineering during the period of epidemiological threat of SARS-CoV-2 virus and COVID-19 disease.

Recommendations effective from March 29, 2022 until further notice.

When entering the Department's building, it is recommended that you disinfect your hands and take a remote temperature measurement using a device standing in the lobby at the entrance. Persons who hear the message that their body temperature is too high during the temperature measurement should take special care to isolate themselves from other people by wearing a mask and keeping their distance.

It is recommended to cover the mouth and nose with a mask:

  • in rooms with a large number of people,
  • to people who are at reasonable risk of infection, especially during the occurrence of cough, runny nose or elevated temperature,

Frequent hand washing and disinfection is also recommended. Distributors of disinfectant liquid are located, among others, at the entrances to teaching rooms and laboratories.
