| Description |
The course deals with the principles, physical description and methods of calculations of fundamental processes in chemical engineering. |
| Prerequisites |
The knowledge of mathematics (algebra, ODE), as well as physical chemistry (thermodynamics and kinetics) is assumed. |
| Course content |
Mass and energy balance, mechanical processes (mixing, grinding, pulverizing, liquid atomization, hydraulic classification, filtration of liquids and gases), evaporation, distillation, gas absorption, adsorption extraction, drying, air humidification, chemical reactors and bioreactors. |
