Description The aim of the course is to give fundamentals in Mathematical Analysis and Linear Algebra necessary for advanced courses in mathematics on higher Level as well as physics and mechanics courses given at the Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering.
Prerequisites The knowledge of mathematics on the level of high school and maturity examination.
Course content Sets and functions, number sequences, limits of functions, continuos functions, derivatives of functions of one variable, extrema of functions of one variable, graphs of functions, indefinite and definite integrals of one variable functions, applications of integrals for calculating areas, volumes, surfaces and mechanical problems, series, ordinary differential equations of one and second order, matrices and determinants, linear equations.
