The course deals with the optimal design of process systems, in particular with the methods of making the optimal choise among many process alternatives ( synthesis of optimal process structures). |

Mathematics (graph theory, probability theory). |
| Course content |
Principles of synthesis of heat exchange systems, separation structures, optimisation of reaction path. Heuristic and algorithmic methods of synthesis. |
