The course deals with the dynamics of chemical engineering processes and presents the basic concepts of chemical process control and automation. |
| Prerequisites |
Mathematics (differential equations, matrix algebra, Laplace and Fourier transforms). Basic processes of chemical engineering. |
| Course content |
Formulation of dynamic models of processes, description of dynamics in the form of state equations, transfer functions and frequency characteristics. Experimental determination of dynamics using aperiodic an frequency inputs. Stability of linear and non-linear objects. |
