The course deals with the fundamentals of analytical chemistry and review of the most frequently used analytical methods in aqueous media including analytical process control. |
| Prerequisites |
The fundamentals of general and inorganic chemistry, as well as basic physical chemistry (electrochemistry, equilibria in aqueous solutions). |
| Course content |
Chemical equilibria in solutions (dissociation of electrolytes, reactions: acid-base, complexometric, redox), partition equilibria (solvent extraction), principles of quantitative analysis (titration methods, gravimetry), the fundamentals of instrumental analysis. |
